Alice Bay Bed and Breakfast

Since 1984.

Tucked on the south shore of Samish Island, our Bed and Breakfast looks onto peaceful Alice Bay and the fields of the Skagit Valley.

The island is a refuge for wildlife of all kinds and Alice Bay shelters a Great Blue Heron rookery. Perched on low bank waterfront, next door to tall fir trees, guests are able to observe many species of waterfowl and raptors including Bald Eagles, hawks and falcons. The private beach is a wonder for solitary wandering or rowing our boat at high tide to get a closer look at the birds and seals.

The Alice Bay Bed and Breakfast remains a “one guest quarters house” to offer extended quiet and solitude for guests as well as the abundant wildlife. A breezeway separates your “guest quarters” from the main house, establishing a sense of privacy. You may soak in the outdoor spa overlooking the bay, sleep in a big featherbed, wrap up in a private bathroom stacked with towels and thick robes, while in the morning breakfast boasts from the pages of the Alice Bay Cookbook. You’ll stay in a contemporary place that is uncluttered, spacious and opens wide to the natural beauty of the Northwest.
