To give visitors a space they can feel at home in, a breezeway separates your “guest quarters” from the main house. There is room for guests to unpack and claim a place as their own. You’ll stay in an attractive, uncluttered, spacious sleeping room set with a queen size featherbed fitted with high quality cottons.

The overstuffed sofa, music from the CD player, lighting from the windows facing south out on Alice Bay, neighboring farmlands and mountains pulls the room together.

The guest room sleeps a family of four very comfortably. Children are welcome.

The private bathroom is adjacent, stacked with towels and thick robes and stocked with soaps, shampoos and whatever you require to freshen your day.

The hot tub/spa on the beach deck is a pleasure at night. The absolute quiet, the warm soak and the fresh sea air will make you sleep very soundly.

In the morning, breakfasts boast of a Grand Dutch Baby, Buttermilk Scones, Paper Pancakes from the pages of the Alice Bay Cookbook. Locally grown produce and seasonal fruits, along with juices, teas and freshly roasted coffee accompany. You are served in our Summer Kitchen warmed by the 1920 wood cook stove, a slate floor and the southern exposure through a wall of glass where you may watch the ebb and flow of the tide.

The Summer Kitchen offers guests another room to watch wildlife with our telescope or just finish reading that great book. The shelves are stacked with plates and glassware and the refrigerator is stocked with beverages with room for your own goods to set yourselves a picnic from the nearby market stands.
